As they sat in the bar, Luke’s training continued. “The Force moves with us, moves through us, is part of us,” Obi Wan said, signaling for another round. “So,” Luke interjected, “the Force is in all of us?” “No,” the Jedi master replied very abruptly. “You must resist childish generalities like that. The Force is … not in idiots and cowards … or complete assholes … such as the names I have here on the list in my pocket …” Luke smiled. His teacher’s spirit burned brightly and he was incredibly powerful, but it was true what people said: Obi Wan was getting kind of bitter as he got older.
