Grace

Grace

"You just ... take it with so much grace, the aging thing," Jared said (wearing his real face - not the one he'd worn all night at the birthday party). His father put a hand on Jared's shoulder. "You've seen me dance; I would never call me graceful," he said with a smile, "but I try to focus on the positive side of marching on in years. There's at least one thought that'll carry you on days you're feeling 'past it'." "Okay," Jared grinned, "gimme your Thought For The Day." "Today? Easy," his father replied, looking up to the sky and sighing. "I'd only have to serve maybe 20 years if I murdered somebody and got life in prison." Jared laughed and nodded his approval. "Seriously, there are a couple of people ...," his father started, then said no more, giving his son an encouraging high five.
