Craft

"You can practice the craft and not be crafty," Stephen shared, smiling. "I mean ... you don't have to make your own broom - store bought is fine." Everyone laughed and Piper relaxed (although it was weird to look around the room and see that the coven contained the dietician from the nursing home and the owner of the hardware store among others). "Study the basics, honor the obligations, and build a practice ... same as any other belief structure. We lead with our strengths here and it's okay to let those emerge," Stephen continued. "It can take a while, so don't rush anything." "What kinds of things ... emerge?" Piper asked, curious but hesitant (hoping not to offend). "Well, I know when a familiar shows up in rescue," Lu answered softly. "They call to me, so I go and pick them up." "I'm a walking smudge stick," Kris offered. "I clean out a ton of minor hauntings just by strolling in." "And I ... well ... there's a range of gifts," Doris whispered, looking down. "What's yours?" Piper prodded (unable to resist). "I can ... read souls," she replied, raising her head to show that her left eye was blazing.
