He was a pro - relaxed, charming, attentive, and full of easy prompts that kept her talking. He itched his ear with the point of his tail at one point, but she kept her game face on. She flirted, fulfilling expectations (accepting the opportunity to practice), and never let on that she could see his horns, the hoof he pounded on the desk as he laughed at one of her jokes, and the red glint in his eyes. "I'm kind of impressed that Satan is video dating," she said to herself silently. "Quarantine must be really boring for him, too." In a couple of these, she would bring up religion or be mind-numbingly boring ... and he would ghost her (to her great relief). They would both be On to the Next One; she ... looking for love, and he ... looking for trouble. "Same thing," her brain commented and she coughed to cover her laughter.
