Fan Fiction

"You wrote ... fan fiction ... about me?" Death whispered, gobsmacked. ""Once a goth girl, always a goth girl," Amelia giggled. "It's just bad form to wear a black nightie in the hospital, apparently." "No one has ever ... ," Death stammered. "Read one." "Now?" Amelia asked, surprised. "I could, but I have them here in this binder. I guess I thought you'd ... well, you'd want to ... go." She pointed upwards with her index finger wondering if she should be pointing down. "I really want to hear one; I've so little time to read," Death said, sitting in the hospital guest chair. "Okay, but ... don't be embarrassed," Amelia said with a wink. "This stuff is rated 'R' for the racy bits." Death's jaw fell open and Amelia grinned. She began to cough and Death snapped its bony fingers; she felt better immediately. "How 'bout I read one and then we break for tea?" she asked casually. "Hell, yes," Death said, about to play hooky for the very first time.
