At Ain Sefra, the jinn gathered (each seated on their respective sides) and celebrated their reunion. On the sand side, those of the desert brought fire - providing warmth and roasting a fine meal; on the snow side, those of the mountains brought water - providing refreshment and relief from the heat. A peek at each other's lives was enough; the ember jinn could not fathom finding comfort in beds of ice crystals, and the frost jinn found the prospect of sweating (melting) truly terrifying. "It is good, yes? This life?" someone asked, and all of them nodded in agreement. There was no need for strife between them now (although they had made that mistake long ago and many times besides), for each had heart and pride of place and agency.
