Casaro drew and painted movie posters by hand, eventually being dubbed "the Michelangelo of Movie Posters" for his work on Hollywood blockbusters. Casaro never received any formal credit other than the signature he placed on his work. Starting humbly, in exchange for free movie tickets, Casaro was esteemed by many who posed for and purchased his originals.

Michael Seltzer sat with a friend dying of AIDS in the 1980s and, during all lags in government-funded research and health campaigns since that time, he has stepped forward to create and expand a private network of philanthropy dedicated to support and cure.
