Passing Words: Michael Seltzer

Passing Words: Michael Seltzer

There was no one to meet him at the gate, so he just walked in (not one to ask for permission any longer). It was a peaceful place, green and full of life; the amount of light was gentle and yet truly spectacular. He rounded the first corner on the humble path (nothing paved, nothing marked as noteworthy) and saw his friend. Behind that friend (who whispered, "It's been a long time" and embraced him) there were others ... hundreds, thousands, more. "I just wanted ... to help," he choked out, before he was hugged again. "This is how loved you are ... for all of it but, mostly, for how your own love showed up as a lack of hesitation and legendary stubbornness." his friend said, and he laughed, feeling seen as much as feeling loved - both of those things stretching to infinity and back.
