Tally sent the first communication - and then a second, and then others more insistently. After a bit, the planchette moved; slow, slow, then quick quick. "Be done with this; go live your life," the message said. "I AM living my life," Tally blasted back, annoyed (pushing down so hard that it left a mark). "We're dead and still better at living in the present moment; bye," the next bit read. She wanted more (direction, confirmation, conflict, anything), but there was nothing; the candles were out and the board was cold.
