"I don't know why we're doing this cram session," he said, annoyed. "School's canceled because of the threat that was called in." Rosa sighed. "There will be school tomorrow - and the quiz as promised. The threat will be nothing, might be nothing now." He stared at her, dumbfounded. "And how do we know that? How do YOU know that?" he asked pointedly. Rosa raised her eyes to look directly into his. "Because the dead have had enough of the bullshit," she whispered. "That's how." And he stepped back, seeing her eyes a silver white where they had been a rich brown only a moment ago.
