Trigger

Mavis rose feeling calm and centered; her burning desire for murder had cooled considerably with a good night's sleep. "I think I'll go to the coffee shop, library, and grocery store today," she thought to herself happily. "I shall keep my own company, which is really the most agreeable and safest way to spend an afternoon." Mavis cleaned herself up, rested, did a spot tidy, and readied to head out (her mind unchanged). Mavis felt very strongly that she should use a car service; it was best to stay off of the roads and public transport, as both of them were known triggers.
