Unseeing
"Once you see it, you can't unsee it," Alma whispered conspiratorially. "Dammit," Craig responded (because she was doing it again; it always started the same way). "Don't." "Okay," she replied and went about her business, but the unknown preyed on his mind something fierce. "Fine," Craig sighed, doubling back. "Tell me the thing; just do it." "Before there was ever a Gomez and Morticia, there was Poe and Lenore," Alma said smiling. And it was done. Craig would be at the computer looking them up within moments and down at the library as soon as it opened. "Dammit," he said again. Alma hugged him; he was a wonderful man and wonderful men deserved a haunting love story.
