Passing Words: Nicholas Brendon
It was the witch who suffered most but, for good reason, was not offered a dispensation to use her powers and write his name in the sky (using cirrus clouds as a pen) or cause every yellow crayon to break in their packs on the shelves of the local Walmart. They all mourned in their way; they checked in with each other and offered comfort; they all promised to raise a glass when next they met. But it was the witch who suffered most, for she loved who they had been and longed for a way to take them back to that time - before mortality proved to be the ultimate and invincible big bad once again.
