"Every night, he'd go out to the hill behind the house and talk to the sky," Larry said (when it was his turn). "He told me: whatever crap you're on about or rolling in, the stars see the shine in you - even if there's just one particle left - and they can work with that. Loneliness is an illusion, because you're live before an endless studio audience the whole time. If you knew how many fans you have out there, you'd crap yourself." Everyone laughed. "So ... yeah," Larry continued, "he let me follow him around for a few days before the end of his life, and that included letting me tail him for a chat with the stars. This is how I will always remember him." And all of the eyes shifted to the framed poster-sized photograph of Grandpa, standing at the top of the hill holding a lantern, laughing and waving at the sky like he was about to join them for a drink at their favorite pub.
