"... and, after Beethoven's Sonata No. 2 in A Major, we'll have Donna Summer sing us 'Love to Love You Baby', and then 'Sugar' by Maroon 5 ...," Nicky said into the mic and brought the show to break. Outside of the booth, Ermanhart gave her a palms up, "What the hell?" look, and she sighed as she turned on the intercom. "YOU ARE ALL OVER THE MAP! What are you doing?" he blasted. "Soothing savage beasts," she said coolly, "as many as I can, with no favoritism." "Ratings for the new morning show are off of the damn charts," Brent said to Ermanhart's left, giving Nicky the thumbs up. "Request line is lit up like a friggin' Christmas tree." "Wow," he responded, shocked, as she switched him off (catching Brent's signal that she had 15 seconds before they were back on the air).
