In memory of British actress Prunella Scales, who passed on Monday at the age of 93. Known best for her role as Sybil on "Fawlty Towers", Prunella Margaret Rumney Scales Illingworth had worked on stage and screen since the age of 17. Surprised but delighted by the success of her plays and shows, Ms. Scales' favorite role was that of Mrs. West (married to John West since 1963; Mr. West died in 2024). In 2014, Scales was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and began a very slow decline. It is reported by family and friends that she was watching "Fawlty Towers" the day before she passed.
