Forms

Forms

"Hauntings typically take one of three forms," Louden explained to the owner of the house, "Mortal Memory, Unrest, and Poltergeist Activity. Our first step will be to determine what kind of haunting you have." Barton grinned and excused himself, walking the temperature scanner slowly down the hall (to get started). "What's the difference?" the client asked, curious. Louden took a deep breath. "Well, spirits trapped in mortal memory simply continue a lifelong habit; these spirits are the ones you typically find reading the paper in a chair or walking through the kitchen. Spirits in a state of unrest are aware of themselves (and possibly you) in a limited way and are confused about their state. Poltergeists are pretty much just like in the movies." "The douchebag dead," Barton snarked from the end of the hallway, laughing. Louden sighed and gave the back of Barton's head a dirty look, but the client snickered.
