In response to their cautious suggestions, Abigail smiled and waved them to silence. "If you live - really live, you are unlikely to leave a beautiful corpse. I want people to look into that box and go, "WOAH, she resisted every opportunity to get work done!" They laughed, amused and a little annoyed, but it was not her intention to make anyone uncomfortable (and they knew that). Abigail simply saw her life as a thing you could trust to transition appropriately; she was less a "little bag of water" tossed to the elements and more of a bag forever packed and ready to go. Monty teased her about it later, but Abigail gently patted his freshly tightened cheek and stood her ground. "We have a different relationship with time," she whispered, "and a different definition of adventure."
