Soap

Bonnie sat down, steeling herself for the moment when Maxine would join them (predictably and without an invitation to do so). But, today, Maxine made her standard beeline, hesitated, and then veered off to another table at the last moment. Bonnie was still celebrating silently when Saul walked by; she touched his arm to get his attention. "The soap you make is amazing," she whispered. "I just started using it and I'm going to order more!" "I'm glad you like it," he replied, and bent down to add, "and it's convenient that Maxine doesn't. The secret ingredient is holy water." Saul gave her a wink and walked on, leaving a surprised Bonnie reminding herself to look at the welcome basket again (remembering that "Maxine Repellent" was written on the soap tag, but the other items had referenced different names).
